Saturday morning on the river

Moving a boat is great entertainment for us at breakfast. These guys could use a little help from my boys, Xan and Fraser, who also love "messing about in boats!I show this to Jim on our morning Skype call, Jim asks: "Is that thing with a roof the boat?"
See the eye?
Mo hi buh, PULL!
Another guy sets a trap for minnows from his speed boat canoe.
Oh, she's a beauty!
Din Ky is the name of the hotel - a resort for Vietnamese people - no other non- Vietnamese here.
Big boats buzz by on the river.
Ready to push.
With BLOGGING, I always forget - do I add pictures from start to finish or finish to start?
This is the start of what I saw. Stay tuned to the blog to sees where the boat ends up!

Paige Stringer, the director of Global Foundation for Children with hearing Loss receives a thank you gift.

Tam gives me a huge hug and KISS as the therapists thank us for our week of teaching.
What do you think, do you think Tam appreciates us? We sure appreciate the opportunity to teach her and her colleagues. This is what Judy and I love to do; share our passion for teaching parents of children who are deaf how to listen and talk - what a great week!
Judy and I help the teachers organize their toys in to bins according to the skills in the Simser Ongoing Auditory-verbal Assessment Form; Audition, Language, Speech, Cognition, & Communication.
Judy explains as she sorts. The teachers organize their toys. What a big job, but a lot of fun!
Matching objects to pictures: I show them the photos I took last year and the objects I gathered for them. They can do some listening activities with matching picture to object. They like the chicken under the basket and the woman in the rice field wearing gloves! I also teach them how to play "Go Fish" with other doubles of Vietnamese photos I share. Laughing, listening to each other, and getting pairs, they want to play all afternoon. I leave the photos
