I hear waves crashing on the beach below this house called "Conch'd Out". A gentle breeze moves the palm fronds in the early sky.Orange sun pops up over turquoise ocean. A glowing line from sun to sand points to me as I stand on the cliff overlooking the waves spilling bubbly water along the gentle slope of pink sand.
I try to capture the scene in a photo, a video, and now in a vignette. Me, watching the sun rise in Eleuthera. Solitary. Alone I take in this awe, just me. Although I know this sun rises for everyone and everything on our planet. At this moment, this morning, this place, it's mine.

Orange orb appears
where blue sky meets turquoise sea
